What is it really like to live on a ranch? To find out, watching from a distance isn’t enough.
With Ranch Life you step into our daily routine and take part in some of the tasks that shape the animals’ lives every day.
It isn’t a guided tour, and it isn’t a show put on for tourists. It’s an experience made of simple, genuine things. You will work alongside the people who look after the animals every day and discover how much work, care and connection lie behind life on a ranch.
The day begins with the animals
Depending on the time of day and the needs of the Ranch, you may take part in some of the daily activities:
- looking after the hens and ducks
- feeding the rabbits
- preparing the horses' feed
- getting to know our horses up close
- brushing them and caring for their coats
- learning how their hooves are cleaned and checked
- learning the small gestures through which trust grows between a person and an animal
Every day at the Ranch is different. And that’s exactly what makes it special.
Slow down for a while
Ranch Life is designed for those who want something different from the usual tourist activity. For animal lovers. For those curious to see what normally stays behind the scenes. And also for those who simply want to slow down for a while and rediscover the rhythm of nature.

Every day at Carolina Ranch is different. Activities with the animals also depend on the time of day, the season, the weather and, above all, the animals’ needs.
That is why we prefer to talk to you directly before confirming the experience. Together we can check availability, and we can recommend the best time and activity for you.

Sometimes the best gift isn’t something you can put in a box. You can also give an experience at Carolina Ranch. The recipient can then contact us to arrange availability and a date together.
So there is no need to know in advance when the experience will take place.
