The experience begins at Carolina Ranch
Before setting off, we take all the time needed to get ready. We start with a briefing, hand out the safety gear and show each driver how the quad works.
Each driver then does a practice run inside the Ranch, to get comfortable with the vehicle before the tour begins. You don’t need to have driven a quad before.

An island to discover
Leaving the Ranch, we follow a route that alternates between roads and dirt tracks, through some of the most striking scenery in Sant’Antioco.
Depending on the route and the conditions on the day, we may reach places and viewpoints such as Torre Canai, the Turri area, S’Acqua e Sa Canna, Capo Sperone, Corongiu Murvonis, Cala Lunga and Cala Sapone.
There are 2 or 3 stops along the way, to enjoy the scenery, have a rest and take photos.
It is not a race, and we are not looking for extreme off-roading. The aim is to enjoy the quad as a different, fun way to discover Sant’Antioco and its landscape.
Some corners of Sant'Antioco deserve to be reached slowly.
The Carolina Ranch quad tours take you through the island’s landscapes, dirt tracks and viewpoints, and are suitable even if you have never driven a quad.
Before confirming, we prefer to talk to you directly and check availability and your group’s details together.
Respecting the island
Sant’Antioco still has many unspoilt places, and for us it is essential to pass through them with respect.
Routes may include dirt roads, tracks and local or provincial roads open to traffic. No off-track driving is allowed. We always follow routes that comply with current regulations and protect the environment.
Small groups, better quality
For our quad tours, too, we have chosen not to form large groups. The maximum is 6 quads. This lets the guide look after each crew more closely, keep the group together and make the experience more enjoyable and safer.
We don’t just want to take you from one point to another. We want to show you some of the places we love on our island.

Photos of your experience
During the tour our guide will take photos at the best moments and viewpoints along the route. Photos taken by the Carolina Ranch guide are included in the price of the tour and will be delivered in digital format.
For an even more special keepsake, a professional photo shoot by a photographer can also be arranged on request: a paid extra that must be requested and agreed in advance.

Valid full car driving licence (category B).

Generally from Easter to Halloween, weather and trail conditions permitting.
Long trousers, closed shoes or hiking boots, sunglasses and a bandana. It is a good idea to bring an extra layer in case the weather changes.
Our staff may change the route or duration, or stop the experience, if weather, ground conditions or other safety reasons make it necessary.
No problem. Before setting off, you will be given all the explanations you need and do a practice run inside the Ranch. We only set off together once everyone is ready.

Before confirming the tour, we like to know a little about you: how many quads you need, how many of you there are, whether there are children and when you will be in Sant’Antioco.
That way we can check availability, answer your questions and give you all the information you need.
Want to give this experience as a gift?
Not every experience is bought by the person who will enjoy it. Carolina Ranch tours can also be bought as a gift for friends or family, for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays or other special occasions.
In that case, you don’t need to know the date of the tour straight away. The recipient can contact Carolina Ranch later to arrange availability, the date and all the necessary details.
